Contest Objective

Re-design my character's outfit!
This is for my horse character Rane. The outfit can be pretty much anything you want as long as it's not TOO pervy.
Also i will say that i quite liked the idea of her having clovers or something horse/food related within the design but you don't HAVE to follow that ^-^

1. How do i enter?
A: Note me, reply to this journal or message me on my front page, those of you on my msn can email me there or message me if im online ^^

2. How do i submit my picture once its done?
A: Note/message me with a link to the entry and i will put it in this journal

3. Are there any rules on colouring style?
A: No! you can colour/draw this however you'd like too, you don't have to be 'the best artist ever' or really talented, its the idea that counts ^^

what photoshop? i had to get a digimarc thing and they didnt give me an ID for the free version so i cant use it, do you know how to get it? i made the watermark on yours with the text tool but its not embeded so i need a proper watermark program XD x

there are certain effects you can use, there is the layer option that gives certain effects, for example can you make a 3Dish effect of slight highlight/shade without any text being really present

well i got a tutorial that is made for drops but with a few modifications you can achive this with smiluar principle

There is an option to watermark directly here on DA but it totally ruins the picture D: its far too big

And i dont have a clue how its done in photoshop really o.o;

use DA's watermark... it doesn't ruin the picture >> i think its quite cool, as for water marking, you can use ur kitty logo i made you, just make it the size of the pic, then change the opacity really low, so it just shows but doesn't cover ur pic, you can also try writing your name/signature somewhere in the actual character eg. shoe or across their leg or sommet

yeah i know, i wanted to make my own so it doesn't completely swamp the pic and i wanted to make one they def couldn't remove. also a program i found has an encoded thing hidden in it that you can't see too or something so its impossible to steal ahhh i get confoosed! XD thank you

im just fussy about stuff sometimes XP x

yeah i hate the dA watermark, i've made one similar without the logo on PS. I didn't even think of doing that with the emblem XD what a bimbo, took me long enough to work out how to lower the opacity of just the text *slaps self for being sloooooow* x

Shouts to these lovely people (in no particular order)

She is my IRL sister and the only one i'd ever want! She can be a pain sometimes (all sisters are) but we always have a laugh over the most stupid things and she's always there with some good advice if i have a problem. She also helps me out a lot by giving me drawing and colouring tips so my pictures can be as snazzed up as hers 'SUAVE' XD

My dear brother! he used to be a rather good sonic artist but instead he's now a rather good furry artist ^-^ whatever he's drawing its always good and full of humour, most of the time.

she's great to chat to.

This girl is fab! i don't talk to her as often as i sometimes did but she's a really nice girl! i love catching up with her and her art is bloody fantastic and inspirational

My new best friend on here and now IRL! He's so amazing and makes me laugh so much i can;t breathe, he also listens to me and helps me when i need it most, i love him so much! Thank you for wanting to be my friend Ali <3 He has awesome art as well so go watch him! He will be made to actually FINISH all of his pictures one day XD

This guy is just mind blowing! His art is amazing and he's so sweet and funny! I seem to just click with him and i'd love to spend more time with him to get to know him even better <3

Sarah! She's rally cool to chat to and i regret that we don't talk as much anymore coz we're both busy but she is such a lovely girl and has amazing art as well <3 BIB!
